This former jewelry factory built in 1907 is typical of the architectural styles of Providence’s Jewelry District. Major challenges of this commission were custom cutting the scores of arched windows and eight-stories of fire escapes on two sides.
This special project was created for a family member who is no longer able to travel to his beloved Block Island home. The scale model represents the weathered pine shingles and multiple decks of this island getaway.
This home is representative of the multi-family homes of Providence’s beautiful Broadway-Armory Historic District.
